Moses 6 : 58-63 Teach these things unto your children freely: By reason of transgression cometh the fall, which fall bringeth death, and inasmuch as ye were born into the world by water, and blood, and the spirit, and so became of dust a living soul, even so ye must be born again into the kingdom of heaven, of water, and of the Spirit, and be cleansed by blood, even the blood of mine Only Begotten; that ye might be sanctified from all sin, and enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come; For by the water ye keep the commandment; by the Spirit ye are justified, and by the blood ye are sanctified; Therefore it is given to abide in you; the record of heaven; the Comforter; the peaceable things of immortal glory; the truth of all things; that which quickeneth all things, which maketh alive all things; that which knoweth all things, and hath all power. This is the plan of salvation unto all men, through the blood of mine Only Begotten. And behold, all things…are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; all things bear record of me.

D&C 76: 40-42 This is the gospel, the glad tidings, which the voice out of the heavens bore record unto us--That he came into the world, even Jesus, to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse it from all unrighteousness; That through him all might be saved whom the Father had put into his power and made by him; Who glorifies the Father, and saves all the works of his hands, except the sons of perdition.

2 Nephi 25: 23-30 We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. Wherefore, we speak concerning the law that our children may know the deadness of the law; and they, by knowing the deadness of the law, may look forward unto that life which is in Christ, and know for what end the law was given. They need not harden their hearts against him when the law ought to be done away. And now behold, my people, ye are a stiffnecked people; wherefore, I have spoken plainly unto you, that ye cannot misunderstand. And the words which I have spoken shall stand as a testimony against you; for they are sufficient to teach any man the right way; for the right way is to believe in Christ and deny Him not; for by denying Him ye also deny the prophets and the law. And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny Him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before Him, and worship Him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out.

Alma 11: 40 And HE shall come into the world to REDEEM HIS PEOPLE, and He shall take upon Him the transgressions of those who Believe on His NAME and these are they that shall have Eternal Life, and salvation cometh unto NONE else.

2 Nephi 31: 17-21 THIS IS THE WAY; and there is NONE OTHER WAY NOR NAME given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the Kingdom of God. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost. And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witnesses of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive. I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of Him who is mighty to save.

Wherefore, ye must press forward with steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: “Ye shall have eternal life”. This is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

2 Nephi 2: 3-27 And the way is prepared from the fall of man, and SALVATION IS FREE. And men are instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil. And the law is given unto ALL men. And by the law no flesh is justified; or by the Law men are CUT OFF. Yea, by the temporal law they were CUT OFF; and also, by THE SPIRITUAL LAW they PERISH from that which is good, and become miserable forever. Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto NONE ELSE can the ends of the law be answered. Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that THERE IS NO FLESH THAT CAN DWELL IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah. He shall make intercession for ALL the children of men; and they that believe IN HIM shall be saved

D&C 11: 28-30 I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am the Life and the Light of the world. I am the same who came unto mine own and mine own received Me not. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that as many as receive Me, to them will I give power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on My Name.

3 Nephi 27: 9-14 Verily I say unto you, that if ye are built upon my gospel; ye shall call whatsoever things ye do call, in my name; and if it so be that the church is built upon my gospel then will the Father show forth his own works in it. But if it be not built upon my gospel, and is built upon the works of men, verily I say unto you they have joy in their works for a season, and by and by the end cometh, and they are hewn down and cast into the fire. For it is because of their works that they are hewn down. Behold this is the gospel which I have given unto you--that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me. And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; that I might draw all men unto me, that as I have been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father,

D&C 39: 1-6 HEARKEN and listen to the voice of the Great I AM, even Jesus Christ--The light and the life of the world; a light which shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not; The same which came in the meridian of time unto mine own, and mine own received me not;

But to as many as received me, gave I power to become my sons; and even so will I give unto as many as will receive me, power to become my sons. And verily, verily, I say unto you, he that receiveth my gospel receiveth me; and he that receiveth not my gospel receiveth not me.

And This is My Gospel--repentance and baptism by water, and then cometh the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, even the Comforter, which showeth all things, and teacheth the peaceable things of the kingdom.

D&C 33:11-13 Yea, repent and be baptized, every one of you, for a remission of your sins; yea, be baptized even by water, and then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost. Verily, verily, I say unto you, This is MY Gospel: that they shall have faith in me or they can in nowise be saved; And upon this rock I will build my church; yea, upon this rock ye are built, and if ye continue, the gates of hell shall not prevail against you.

3 Nephi 11:28-39 And there shall be no disputations among you, as there have hitherto been.

For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of Me, Behold, verily, verily, I will declare unto you my doctrine. And this is my doctrine, and it is the doctrine which the Father hath given unto Me; I bear record that the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in Me. And whoso believeth in Me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God. And whoso believeth not in Me, and is not baptized, shall be damned. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is My doctrine, whoso believeth in Me believeth in the Father also; and unto him will the Father bear record of Me, for He will visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost. And thus will the Father bear record of Me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and Me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one. And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.

Mosiah 16:3-15 ALL mankind became carnal, sensual, devilish, knowing evil from good, thus all mankind were lost; and behold, they would have been endlessly lost were it not that God redeemed his people from their lost and fallen state. And now if Christ had not come into the world, there could have been no redemption. He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death. The arms of mercy are extended towards (you); and (you), being warned of (your) iniquities are commanded to repent. And now, ought ye not to tremble and repent of your sins, and remember that only in and through Christ ye can be saved? Therefore, if ye teach the law, also teach that it is a shadow of those things which are to come--Teach that redemption cometh through Christ the Lord, who is The Very Eternal FATHER. Amen.

D&C 10:62-70 Yea, and I will also bring to light My Gospel, the only doctrine which is IN Me. And this I do that I may establish My gospel, that there may not be so much contention; for they do wrest the scriptures and do not understand them. Therefore, I will unfold unto them this great mystery; For, behold, I will gather them as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if they will not harden their hearts; Yea, if they will come, they may, and partake of the waters of life freely. Behold, This is my doctrine--whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same is my church. Whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me; therefore he is not of my church. And now, behold, whosoever is of my church, him will I establish upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them. And now, remember the words of him who is the Life and Light of the world, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God.

3 Nephi 9: 13-17, 22 “If ye will come unto me, ye shall have Eternal Life. Behold, Mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto Me. As many as have received Me, to them have I given to become the Sons of God, and even so will I to as many as shall believe on MY NAME, for behold, by Me redemption cometh. I am the Light and Life of the world….and whoso cometh unto Me with a broken heart, him will I baptize with FIRE!

President James E. Faust: I speak about THE GREATEST event in ALL history, the incomparable Atonement of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ; the most transcendent act that has ever taken place, yet it is the most difficult to understand. OUR SALVATION DEPENDS ON BELIEVING IN AND ACCEPTING (or “Receiving”) THE ATONEMENT. The Atonement advances our mortal course of learning by making it possible for our natures to become perfect. Any increase in our understanding for His atoning sacrifice draws us closer to Him. Literally, the Atonement means to be “at one” with Him. The nature of the At-One-ment and its effect is so infinite, so unfathomable, and so profound that it lies beyond the knowledge and comprehension of mortal man. I am profoundly grateful for the gift of Saving Grace. Repentance is granted and mercy is extended. The Savior’s Grace is activated in our lives through the At-One-Ment, which purifies us and can perfect us. Our Redeemer took upon Himself ALL the sins, Pains, Infirmities, and sicknesses of ALL who have ever lived and will ever live. (Alma 7:11-12) Jesus reaches down to lift us up. Through the Gift of Repentance and the At-One-ment, we can be brought to stand in His presence. I so TESTIFY.

Elder Dallin H Oaks: We may attend [church] regularly, but still refrain from seeking the personal spiritual rebirth that comes from YIELDING OUR HEARTS UNTO GOD! Persons who are not fully seeking a personal spiritual conversion are missing out on experiences that are ESSENTIAL under the divinely established great plan of happiness. Those who do experience this conversion have found the KEY which is described by the prophet Moroni who PLEADED WITH US to “Come unto Christ and be perfected in [BY] Him.”

Elder Joseph B Wirthlin: No amount of money can purchase exaltation. Eternal life is a GIFT from a loving Heavenly Father offered FREELY and LIBERALLY to ALL who come unto the Man of Galilee. Jesus the Christ is “THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; no one cometh unto the Father, but by Him.”

President John Taylor: It is for the exaltation of man to this state of superior intelligence [light] and Godhood that the mediation and At-One-Ment of Jesus Christ is instituted; and man, is rendered capable not only of being a son of man, but also a son of God. Thus, through the At-One-ment of Jesus Christ, man is capable of eternal exaltation, Eternal Lives and eternal progression. But this transition from his manhood to Godhood can ONLY be made through a power which is superior to man---an infinite power, an eternal power, even THE power of the Godhead; for as in Adam all die, so in CHRIST ONLY can ALL be made alive. Through Christ, mankind are brought into communion and communication with God; through His At-One-ment they are enabled, to vanquish death; through that Atonement and His power they become heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and inheritors of thrones, powers, principalities and dominions in the eternal worlds. The only question with us is whether we will cooperate with God, OR whether we will individually (and foolishly) attempt to work out our own salvation.

John 1: 15 But as many as received him; to them gave He power to become the Sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE ON HIS NAME.” As many as believe on his Name shall receive of His fullness. And of His fullness have all we received, even immortality and eternal life, through His grace…for except it is through Him no man can be saved.

John 3: 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth NOT the Son shall NOT see life.

John 6: 47-51 He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the living bread, which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever.

John 10: 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.

John 11: 25-26 Jesus said: I am the life: and whoso believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John 14: 1-6 Jesus saith: “THE WAY” ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, how can we know “THE WAY”? Jesus saith unto him, I AM “THE WAY”, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 15: 4-5 As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: FOR WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING.

ROMANS 3: 19-23 “By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified; for by the law is the knowledge of sin... For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6: 23 But the GIFT OF GOD is Eternal Life, THROUGH Jesus, our Lord.

Romans 10: 1-13 Christ is the END OF THE LAW for righteousness to everyone that believeth. For the Lord is Treasure unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED.

Ephesians 2: 8 By grace ye are saved through faith, NOT of yourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD!

Galatians 2: 19-21 For if righteousness comes by the law, then CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

Galatians 3: 2-14 But no man is justified by the law in the sight of God. The law is NOT of faith. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is of NO effect for those justified by Law - Both Paul and Lehi said: (The Law justifies NOTHING. Only The Spirit can justify!)

Moses 6 :60. By The Spirit ye are Justified, and by the Blood ye are Sanctified

Hebrews 7: 19 THE LAW MADE NOTHING PERFECT, but the bringing of a better hope did, by which we draw nigh unto God.

1 Timothy 1: 9 Know this, that the Law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient. Salvation comes through faith, which is IN Christ Jesus.

1 John 1: 5-10 The blood of Jesus, CLEANSETH US FROM ALL SIN. If we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness (natural man).

1 Nephi 12: 10 Because of faith in the Lamb of God, their garments are made white in His blood.

2 Nephi 10: 24 It is only in and through the Grace of God that ye are SAVED.

1 Nephi 13: 40 The Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world, and ALL men must come unto Him, or they CANNOT be saved.

Jacob 4:6-7 We search the Prophets, and have many revelations, and having all these witnesses we obtain a hope, and our faith becometh unshaken. Nevertheless, the Lord showeth us our weakness that we may know that it is by HIS GRACE and His great condescensions unto men that we [are saved].

Moroni 7:41 Behold, What is it that ye shall Hope for????? Behold ye shall have hope through the Atonement of Christ and his power to be raised to life Eternal, and this because of your faith IN HIM according to HIS promise.

Omni 1: 26 I would that ye should come unto Christ, and partake of His salvation, and the power of His redemption. Yea, Come unto Him (CHRIST), and offer your whole souls as an offering unto Him, and as the Lord liveth, ye will be saved.

Mosiah 3: 11-21 Believe that salvation was, and is, and is to come, ONLY IN and through the at-One-ing Blood of Christ; and become a saint through the Atonement of Christ, and become as a child, submissive, meek, humble, full of Love, willing to submit to ALL things the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon you.

Mosiah 5: 7-13 Ye shall be called the children of Christ, HIS sons, and His Daughters; for this day HE HATH SPIRITUALLY BEGOTTEN YOU; for your hearts are changed through faith on HIS "NAME"; ye are Born of Him and have become His Sons and Daughters, and under this NAME ye are made free, and there is NO OTHER "NAME" whereby ye can be made free, and there is no other NAME given whereby salvation cometh. Ye may have everlasting salvation AND eternal life, through the Power and mercy of Him who created ALL things.

Mosiah 12-16 And now, ought ye not to tremble and remember that ONLY In and through Christ can ye be saved? Therefore, if ye teach the Law, also teach them that redemption cometh only through Christ the Lord, who is the very ETERNAL FATHER.

Alma 5: 21 There can no man be saved except his garments are washed white; yea, his garments must be all purified until they are cleansed from ALL stain, through the blood of Him."

Alma 11: 40 And HE shall come into the world to REDEEM HIS PEOPLE, and He shall take upon Him the transgressions of those who Believe on His NAME and these are they that shall have Eternal Life, and Salvation cometh unto NONE else.

Alma 22: 14 Since man (all of us) had fallen, he (we) could not merit anything of himself.

Alma 34: 6-18 Redemption cometh through the Son of God. There must be an At-One-Ment made, or else all mankind must unavoidably perish. HE shall bring salvation to ALL those who shall believe on HIS NAME.

Alma 42: 1-26 Whosoever will come, MAY COME and partake of the waters of life FREELY; and whosoever will not come the same is not compelled to come.

Helaman 3: 27-35 The gate of Heaven is open unto ALL, even to those who will believe on the NAME of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.

Helaman 5: 8-12 O remember, remember my sons, that there is no other way nor means whereby man can be saved, only through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, Who shall come to redeem the world, but He should not come to redeem them IN their sins, but to redeem them from their sins.

Helaman 8: 4-5 As many as should look upon the Son of God with faith might live, to that Life which is ETERNAL.

3 Nephi 15: 9 Behold I AM THE LAW AND THE LIGHT! Look unto Me and endure to the end, I will give Eternal Life.

Ether 3: 14 Behold, I am Jesus Christ. I am the Father and the Son. In Me shall ALL mankind have life, and that eternally, even they who shall believe on MY NAME; and they shall become My sons and My daughters.

Moroni 7: 37-38 For NO man can be saved, save they shall have faith on His NAME.

Moroni 10: 32-33 Come unto Christ, and be PERFECTED in Him, for His grace is sufficient for you, that by His grace ye may be PERFECT in Christ. Then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, that ye become holy, without spot!

D&C 10: 63-70 If they will come, they may, and partake of the waters of life freely! Whosoever repenteth and cometh unto Me, the same is MY church.

D&C 11: 28-30 I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am the life and the light of the world. I am the same who came unto mine own and mine own received me not. I say unto you, that as many as receive me, to them will I give power to become the Sons of God, to them that believe on My NAME.

D&C 18: 21-25 There is NONE other name given whereby man can be saved.

D&C 39: 1-6 To as many as received Me, gave I power to become my Sons; and even so will I give unto as many as will receive Me, power to become my Sons.

D&C 45: 3-9 Unto them that believed on My NAME, gave I power to obtain Eternal Life.

D&C 49: 5 I am God, and have sent mine Only Begotten Son into the world for the redemption of the world, and he that receiveth Him shall be saved, and he that receiveth Him not shall be damned.

D&C 132: 22-26 For strait is the gate, and narrow the way that leadeth unto the exaltation and continuation of the lives, and few there be that find it, because ye receive Me not in the world neither do ye know Me. But if ye receive Me in the world, then shall ye know Me, and shall receive your exaltation; that where I am ye shall be also. This is eternal lives--to know the only wise and true God, and Jesus Christ, whom He hath sent. I am He. For broad is the gate, and wide the way that leadeth to the deaths; and many there are that go in thereat, because they receive Me not.
